Puerto Rican-born Eleanor Parker Sapia is the multi-award-winning author of the

best-selling novel, A Decent Woman, published by Winter Goose Publishing. Eleanor’s debut novel, set in 1900 Ponce, Puerto Rico, garnered awards

in 2016 and 2017 in the International Latino Book Awards. Eleanor is editing her

second novel, The Laments, set in 1926 Puerto Rico, and a

poetry collection about the many facets of love.

 

Eleanor, the mother of two amazing adult children, lives with a sweet Chihuahua

named Sophie. Eleanor dreams of returning to the island of her birth

as soon as humanly possible.
