Dahlma Llanos-Figueroa, is an Afro-Puerto Rican novelist, memoirist, and
PEN finalist who grounds her work on Puerto Rican communities on the island
and in New York City. Her second novel is slated to be published in the coming year by Amistad Press, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishing.
